Our goal is to provide a nurturing community where students grow, flourish, and excel. To reach this goal, we encourage communication, promote character education, and engage all students, parents, and staff in the learning process. Our Links to Learning preschool curriculum for children ages six weeks to five years of age engages the child’s senses, mind, and body. It is organized according to a child’s age and stage of development. It incorporates fun, challenging, and meaningful activities. Our students develop confidence, self-reliance, and important social skills needed for success in kindergarten and beyond. Our elementary curriculum focuses on the core subjects, along with specialty classes such as technology, Spanish, physical education, and the arts. Our teachers personalize lessons to ensure that they are stimulating and challenging for each child. We know that students need more than just academic knowledge to achieve success. We enhance learning with a variety of special events and field trips, including our annual overnight trips to Washington D.C., Houston, and Austin. Students of all ages receive the best education when parents are involved. For this reason, we offer many ways to stay in touch with us. We offer a private school education for children ages 6 weeks through 8th grade. What are the hours of operation at your school? Our academic day is 8:15 am–3:45 pm. Extended hours are 6:30 am–6:00 pm. Is lunch provided at your school? Our goal is to provide options that are both delicious and healthy. Lunch is made in-house Monday through Thursday and is included in tuition. Students must bring their own lunches on Fridays or purchase a catered lunch. Is your school accredited? Yes. What types of enrichment and club opportunities are available? All students in kindergarten through 8th grade participate in specialty classes (P.E, art, technology, Spanish, and music). We also have club options such as STEM, cooking, athletics, dance, and more. Can children who are not enrolled join Merryhill School camps? Yes! We are excited to welcome children from the Arlington community to our camps. Our summer camps are open to all children, whether they are enrolled at our school or not.
